The interior is a soft tan felt with a large ring holder and lots of space for jewelry. There is a lift off cover so you can see the musical mechanism play. The mechanism is a 30 note, so it has more melody and plays longer. The sound is amazing. The box has a tasseled key for locking and brass hinges add to the beauty of the box.
