The hinged lid is also a photo frame trimmed with an ornate filigree champagne toned design. There is a beautiful art print under the glass, with a sentiment that says “In Loving Memory. The interior is lined in black felt and the traditional wind up musical mechanism is under plexiglass so you can see it play.
